Michael Cumes, the Operational Manager at Bella Sol Med Spa, brings a wealth of global experience to his role. With a distinguished career setting up Globally branded retail operations worldwide, Michael has demonstrated his exceptional operational expertise and strategic vision. Over the past four years with Bella Sol, he has passionately championed exceptional patient care and service, ensuring that the spa remains at the forefront of aesthetic advancements. His commitment to excellence and his deep-rooted passion for customer service continue to drive the spa’s success and growth.

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the aesthetics field. Lydia Cortez is a seasoned and accomplished practice manager and Master Level CoolSculpting Specialist. known for her exceptional leadership style and expertise in the Coolsculpting field. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and optimizing practice operations. 
Lydia possesses a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of aesthetics, staying abreast of the latest advancements and techniques in the industry. 
Her profound knowledge allows her to effectively coordinate and streamline all aspects of the practice, ensuring seamless operations and optimal patient outcomes.

As a leader, Lydia excels in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, empowering staff members to perform at their best and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.

Rafyhelkis Metz trained as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey at Cumberland County College (now Rowan University), 2016 and completed her baccalaureate degree from Wilmington University in Delaware, 2019.

From 2016-2024 Nurse Rafy focused most of her time caring for patients in acute care settings both in New Jersey and California. Her interactions with patients and their health journeys has kept her motivated to care for patients in any setting of healthcare.

Nurse Rafy, was drawn to the field of Aesthetic Nursing do to her love for people and science. Her interest in skin began during her early years as an acute care nurse which exposed her to wound care and healing. Having learned how skin can play such an important role in patients overall health it just felt as a natural calling.

Today Nurse Rafy’s focus is fully aimed at introducing patients to the concept of selfcare through skincare. Her hope is that what we do in office for a patient’s appearance positively translate into other areas of the patients lives. Nurse Rafy’s main intention is to guide patients on the path of feeling comfortable in their own skin, advocating for self-love and magnifying their individual beauty.

Penelope graduated with her ADN from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles California along with Wound Care Certification. With three years of experience in dermatology and plastic surgery as a medical assistant, Penelope found her passion for skin care drawing her to pursue a professional career in the aesthetic field.

Under the guidance of experienced providers and extensive trainings, Penelope thrives on making her patients feel more confident and feel their best through a tailored meticulous approach.

From expertise in RF Microneedling,  Coolsculpting, laser skin resurfacing, Tattoo Removal and more, Penelope is dedicated to continually advancing and mastering her skills to provide impactful results for patients specific needs and goals.

Brandi, one of our aesthetic nurses who performs a variety of aesthetic treatments at Bella Sol. She is a seasoned healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in hospital settings. Brandi began her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). She furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University.

Brandi’s extensive bedside experience has sharpened her keen eye for detail and assessment skills, qualities she seamlessly applies to her journey in aesthetics. Her passion for skin health and anti-aging treatments prompted her transition into this field, where she has flourished since joining our team. Brandi highly values collaborating with her exceptional, skilled, and knowledgeable peers, continually enhancing her abilities through shared insights and advanced training.

At our medical spa, Brandi remains dedicated to expanding her expertise through ongoing training and collaborative efforts with her colleagues. She takes great pride in helping patients achieve their goals of inner wellness and outer beauty through personalized care, consistently delivering exceptional results. Her lighthearted, fun-loving attitude also ensures that patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatments.

mily Ayan is a registered nurse who graduated from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2009. She has experience working in labor and delivery and has been working as a laser nurse since 2023. Emily is passionate about empowering people to feel confident and beautiful. She specializes in laser skin resurfacing, RF microneedling, and laser hair removal.

Alyssa Vera is a registered nurse with nearly 7 years of experience in aesthetics. Alyssa has a range of specialty including skin rejuvenation with energy based treatments and microneedling, skincare education, Coolscuplting, and personal weight management guidance.

Her vast knowledge in aesthetics and continuous education allows her to prioritize patient needs in the care she delivers. Alyssa is dedicated to providing personalized and high quality results, while valuing the beauty of personal connection and trust with her patients at Bella Sol.

With over 32 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, Dawn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at Bella Sol, where she has been a valued team member since 2007. Dawn’s journey began with 17 years of dedicated service alongside a dermatologist, honing her skills and deepening her understanding of skincare. As a licensed aesthetician and medical assistant, Dawn’s qualifications are complemented by her European training at City and East London College in London, England.

Throughout her career, Dawn has continually pursued further education, completing numerous classes and courses to stay at the forefront of the field. Her passion for aesthetics remains as strong today as it was when she first embarked on this career path, driving her commitment to providing exceptional care and results for her clients.
